"Three to 5 days at our remote cabin near Chama, NM overlooking El Vado Lake. Three bedromms, with extra loft for kids, 2 baths, fully furnished kitchen. Badminton, ping pong, horseshoe, hiking and 2 lakes for water activities. Nearby Heron Lake for fishing and sailing only. Can be used summer or winter."

"Together" -- P. Buckley Moss figurine, 2002.  Donated by Bonnie and Dwayne Rufenacht.

 

"Rose Quartz" -- 4 pound stone.  Donated by Bell Zimmerman

 

"Southwest Jewelry" -- unknown origin.  Donated by Bell Zimmerman

"Butterfly" -- William Howe original 12" x 16" acrylic painting.  Mr. Howe's artwork hangs in the American Museum of Natural History and Museums, public libraries and institutions across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico

"Rocking Horse" -- reproduction c. 1960, Philippines origin.

   

"Fire truck" --  Riding and steerable.  Donated by Merle Brenneman

  

"Car Roller" --  Made and donated by Merle Brenneman.  Made of Oak and is 30" High.  Instead of marbles, small wooden cars move down the roller.

  

"D John Deere" --  1930 or 1931.  Engine free not running.  Donated by Clair Brenneman, Mel Troyer and Rick Shellenberger.

"Amish Barn and Quilt" --  Cross Stitch designed by Linda Coleman and made by Ruth Pendergrast of of Fort Collins.  This is number one in a series of four.  Ruth will be completing one for each of the next three Rocky Mountain MCC Relief Sales.  2008--"Quaker Barn and Quilt", 2009--"Lancaster Barn and Quilt", 2010--"Ohio Star Barn and Quilt".

                

"Antique Roll Top Desk" -- European roll top.  Needs to be restored.  Donated by Rick Shellenberger.

Framed cut glass "quilt block" window. The glass measures 14" x 14". {16½" x16½" including frame}.
Made by Dr. Herman Wallen, resident of Carlsbad, N.M.,  who crafted this for the sale even though he has never been able to attend.

"Amazing Grace," 13" X 16" laser etched plaque of the hymn.  Made by P. Graham Dunn Gallery, of  Dalton, OH.

   

This quilt display case is made from oak and is 23" tall, 28" long, and 20" wide.  It has a door on one end for access to the case.  The glass top is also removable.  It can be used as an end table, night stand, or ??? to display quilts or other items.  A glass shelf can be added at a future time.  Made and donated by Merle Brenneman.

                                      

Carl Rudy's hand crafted wood inlay tea boxes.  Carl and Ruth Rudy have contributed so much the MCC and the Relief Sale over the years but the have now moved from La Junta to Mannheim, Pennsylvania.  These may be the last of Carl's hand crafted tea boxes for the Rocky Mountain Mennonite Relief Sale.

      

1925 Singer Treadle Sewing Machine in Oak Cabinet, Serial #Y7019996, Manufactured by the Singer Manufacturing Co. The machine originally belonged to a friend of Mary and Joe Kaiser, bother and sister-in-law to Pat and Les Miller
of La Junta.
